The LIV Golf will continue in Valderrama for the third consecutive year. The circuit announced that from July 11 to 13 the LIV Golf Andalucía will be held on the course that hosted the Ryder Cup in 1997. In this way, the option of Madrid hosting a LIV tournament in 2025 disappears.
Valderrama signed five tournaments with the Public Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) with the clause that they could skip two years until 2029, so alternating with the capital of Spain was a possibility, especially after the visit a month ago by Greg Norman, CEO of the Circuit, to meet with those responsible for the city.
In this year’s edition, Sergio García took the individual victory and also the team victory with his Fireballs GC. “We are delighted to host LIV Golf at Real Club Valderrama for the third time in a row. This event continues to grow and it is truly gratifying to see an increasing number of fans coming to enjoy world-class golf on our iconic course. We look forward to another exciting tournament and the continued support of our passionate spectators,” comments Javier Reviriego, executive director of Real Club Valderrama.
Along with Valderrama’s event, LIV Golf announced the dates of five other tournaments: LIV Golf Korea, from May 2 to 4; LIV Golf Dallas, June 27-29; LIV Golf UK by JCB, July 25-27; LIV Golf Chicago, August 8-10 and LIV Golf Indianapolis, August 15-17.
These tournaments join those already communicated previously. The LIV will start from February 6 to 8 with the LIV Golf Riyadh. From February 14 to 16, he will return to The Grange Golf Club for the LIV Golf Adelaide. From March 7 to 9, he will travel to Asia with LIV Golf Hong Kong and from March 14 to 16, to LIV Golf Singapore. Four of the 14 tournaments that make up the circuit remain to be announced.
