Tipper Accident in Tinkune

A tipper hit a motorcycle in Kathmandu’s Tinkune, killing two people.

According to the New Baneshwar Police Circle, a tipper (plate number Ra 1 Kha 2622) hit a motorcycle (plate number Pra 3-02-003 P 6245), leading to the deaths of Sukaram Tamang from Panauti-11, Kavre, and Ramesh Tamang from Bethanchowk-6.

The accident happened at 4:30 AM on Saturday in front of the Gaurigaun petrol pump at Tinkune-32, Kathmandu. The tipper hit the motorcycle and fled the scene.

Both victims were critically injured and taken to the Trauma Center for treatment, but they died during treatment.

The police later found the tipper inside the airport cargo area and took it under control. The driver is missing, but the police have contacted the tipper’s owner.
