The Arabia Grand Prix had an unexpected turn in the first career bars with a strong accident between Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly.

Both pilots were out of competition after contact in the first curves of the layout in Yeda. Tsunoda looked for the exceed in a maneuver to the limit, but the space was minimal and the contact between the cars was inevitable.
The Gasly Alpine violently hit barriers, being completely shattered, while the Japanese pilot managed to return to Boxes, although her team chose to remove the car due to the damage.
The yellow flag immediately appeared in the first sector and the security car was deployed, neutralizing the race while the remains of the accident were removed.
