The RB Leipzig qualified this Wednesday for the semifinals of the Football German Cup after winning the 1-0 Wolfsburg with a penalty goal of the Slovenian Benjamin Sesko and will wait for Sunday’s draw to meet his rival, which could be the Bayer Leverkusen, the Stuttgart or the Arminia Bielefeld.
The Leverkusen of Xabi Alonso won the Colonia 3-2, the Stuttgart defeated the minimum (1-0) to the Augsburg and the Arminia Bielefeld, of Third Division, worked the miracle after beating the Werder Bremen 2-1 in their respective room games.
In the first half the occasions fell on the visiting side, a more incisive Wolfsburg and with danger but without aiming at the door, before a flat and harmless Leipzig at home.
The rhythm began to rise in the second half, as well as the speed in the transitions but the goals did not arrive, until in the 69th minute and from the penalty point, the Slovenian Benjamin Sesko advanced to the premises, who maintained the advantage until the end despite the thrust of the Wolfsburg.
