Moto GP returns to Hungary after more than 30 years

Hungary will be part of the MotoGP calendar in 2025. Located near Lake Balaton, in the western region of the country, the layout will undergo a series of improvements both in the circuit and in the facilities, in order to receive the world of motorcycling next season.

The Balaton Park

The World Motorcycling Championship celebrated its first race in Hungary in 1990, and returned for a second Grand Prix in 1992. Now, in 2025, elite motorcycling will return to Hungary, marking a new milestone with the debut of Balaton Park in the MotoGP calendar.

The Balaton Park circuit will be the headquarters of the race. The provisional dates of the event will be from August 22 to 24, 2025. Improvements will be carried out in the circuit and work in the infrastructure and services destined for fans.

The Balaton Lake, the largest in Central Europe, will be the scene of this sports show, providing fans the opportunity to enjoy a first level experience in a unique tourist destination.
