Diego Ruiloba has given the pleasure of working hand in hand for the first time with one of the most reputed squads in the history of the rallies: Citroën Racing. The young Asturian, a new pupil on WRC2 of the double chevron brand, begins to palate the supplements that a step forward is taken as the one available to give. The House of Versailles has summoned it to the asphalt development tests that the organizer of the La Nucía rally has arranged this week in the port of Tudons (Alicante).
The runner -up of the WRC2, Yohan Rossel, and his compatriot Yoann Bonato, Citroën Puntal in the European and in the French championship, have given the junk to Ruiloba, in charge of closing the intensive test program of the Gallic team. Although the C3 Rally2 is the most veteran car in the category, thanks to the evolution work that continuously carries out the team, it remains in the ointment seven years after its debut
Life delighted
“We are surrounded by the best professionals. The media we have here is impossible for them to have them in a private team. That’s a lot. We will try to live the present a little, enjoy experiences like today and go within two weeks to the Canary Islands to try to do it well. We know that we are capable if we prepare the rally in the right way,” said Ruiloba, delighted with his first day immersed in a factory team, which has also served him to start familiar with the new Hankook tires that will premiere in the sections of the archipelago.
