Bayern Munich’s Portuguese midfielder, Joao Palhinha, will be out for several weeks due to an injury to the abductor of his right leg that he suffered in the last training camp with his national team, as announced by the Bavarian club this Tuesday.
“The FC Bayern medical department has confirmed that João Palhinha (29 years old) suffered a muscle tear in his (right) adductor during training with the Portuguese national team. This was the result of an examination carried out by the FC Bayern medical department. Therefore, the midfielder will be absent from FC Bayern in the coming weeks,” read the German team’s statement.
An injury that could keep him off the playing field until early 2025, since the last match that Bayern will play this year will be on December 20 in the match corresponding to the fifteenth day of the Bundesliga.
