Historic day for Málaga and the province’s grassroots football. The Martiricos entity has announced the quarry agreement on which it has been working for more than six months. The Boquerón team has managed to sign an agreement with the signature of more than 60 clubs from the province who gathered for the signing at the Malaguista Sports City facilities in Arraijanal. This collaboration marks a milestone in the connection between the Malaguista institution and the local football base. One of the most important points is the reward to the neighborhood clubs for the players who reach the reserve team.
As short-term financial compensation, a direct and immediate payment will be made to the club of origin for each player incorporated into the Málaga discipline.
“As short-term economic compensation, a direct and immediate payment will be made to the club of origin for each player incorporated into the Málaga discipline, with gradual amounts that will vary depending on the category in which the player joins and the category. in which the club’s first men’s team plays,” comments the official document that Málaga has sent to the media.
Málaga gave the reasons why the Malacitan club was seeking to close this agreement. From La Rosaleda it had been observed how “a feeling of detachment from our entity” was expanding among the clubs in the province of Malaga. This feeling of distance has weakened cohesion and collaboration within Malaga football, “negatively affecting the development of sport in our region,” explained the beginning of the statement.
The Martiricos club has the idea of making the material and human resources of Málaga available to Málaga football, in its capacity as a leading club in the province: creation of a web platform that allows fluid communication between Málaga and the clubs that subscribe the agreement; creation of a specific section on the entity’s official website; making tickets available for official matches played by the men’s first team; visits to the La Rosaleda Stadium and organization of joint tournaments at ‘La Academia’ with the clubs that have signed the agreement.
