Among the novelties of this year in the Liv Golf is the incorporation of Luis Masaveu (Madrid, 2002) to the circuit occupying the Plaza de Eugenio López Chacarra in the Fireballs. His name sounded strongly when he qualified for the British Open last year, even being amateur, and this Thursday is released in the circuit that drives the public fund of Saudi Arabia.
Question: How is life in Liv Golf?
Answer: Nothing, doing little by little. It is being incredible. Being able to see these players that I have been watching all these years on TV and be able to learn from them this year. The truth is that I come with great desire.
Q: How did your signing arise?
A: I didn’t know anything either. I think my manager (Ricardo Reinqueque) was doing it very well for his side and when he left they told me and I happy.
Q: Did you think it a lot?
A: No, I didn’t think about it. As soon as they told me, I accepted. It is a very good opportunity to play with many players who have been numbers 1 in the world, who have won Majors and I think I am young, I have a lot to learn and here I will learn much more.
Q: He saw many in the British, but … Any of these players he has now seen caught his attention?
A: Everyone plays very well. The good thing is that now I’m going to have a season to play with all of them. In the British as it was Amateur I had to play one of the last games … well, I played with Abraham (Ancer, his partner in Fireballs) on Saturday, but now I can learn from everyone.
Q: How would it be defined as a player?
A: Game with a lot of passion. Outside the field I am quite quiet, but in the field I put a lot of passion. I am a very powerful player, who does many birdies and I think I can give a good show.
Q: Does it show concerns about the history of golf or is it a professional and it’s over?
A: I really like to study people. More than history, the issue of swing and advances to improve.
Q: And who has he set?
A: Technically in Tiger Woods, in Mcilroy, in Adam Scott …
Q: Did any of them be asked for an autograph?
A: The only autograph I have was when Sergio García gave a clinic in the moral and went to see him. The only ball that I have signed by a player is his.
Q: You invested the path that almost all the last great Spanish players have done: end up in American universities. He preferred the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid.
A: I shuffled the option. I was not very clear and did not go well for the option I had and as I was very comfortable with my team and I am a player that I like to train my ball, with the team that had it was best to meet in Spain. And for now he is going well.

Q: Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño, his coach, says that he is a winner.
A: Man! You have to think about each one. With Gonzalo I’m lucky to have it.
Q: Having a seven -time European Tour winner as he helps?
A: Yes, because in the end Gonzalo has done things that I want to do. If he has done it, it means that he has done very well. And it looks. In the day to day, especially this year, I have learned a lot with him.
Q: Are you going to play this year or being so young, you will not burn?
A: I will try to play International Series of the Asian Tour and even some Challenge in Europe. It is good for me to play other tours, take points of the world ranking. I will try to play everything possible.
Q: What do you have to improve?
A: I have to improve visualization with putt. It is what is costing me the most. Technically I am quite good with that stick, but the reading of falls costs me and that’s why I have bad days.
Q: What is the first thing you have seen when landing on your team, Fireballs?
A: Well, very few blows fail.
Q: Had I ever played at night?
A: Never. Here has been the first time. In the field of practices and in the Putting Green in winter it has been made at night because there is little light, but it is not reference because in practices you see the ball fly and do not look at the distance. Here if the ball goes very high, you lose it, in the putt as there are many spotlights the reading of falls is uncomfortable.
Q: Being the last generation, what do you think of the League of simulators that drive Tiger and Mcilroy?
A: It is a different product. But I haven’t seen it much. There are people who may like it a lot.
