A goal from Christian Norgaard in the 92nd minute led to Brentford’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City, in a Premier League match that Pep Guardiola’s team came to dominate 0-2 with goals from Phil Foden.
At the end of the match Pep Guardiola jumped onto the field to have an intense chat with Stefan Ortega Moreno, who could have done something more to prevent Norgaard’s goal at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Spanish coach vehemently addressed the German goalkeeper while grabbing him, hugging him… and hitting him in the chest.
Recently Ortega, a goalkeeper whom Guardiola defined as “one on one, he is one of the best goalkeepers I have seen in my life”, has challenged Ederson’s starting position in the City goal.
During the match Guardiola also had an intense talk with Josko Gvardiol.

In the press conference after the match Guardiola analyzed City’s draw against Brentford.
“We were close. We had chances, they had chances. We didn’t make the right decisions when we could run. The way they play with individual marking allows you to run, but our decision-making was not the best. Between 2-1 and 2 -2 was really good. They put a lot of players in the area for the crosses and they are stronger in that aspect,” declared the Spanish coach.
