Nelly Korda achieves her seventh title of 2024 on the LPGA Tour at The Annika

The American Nely Korda, crowned LPGA Tour Player of the Year, achieved this Sunday her seventh title of 2024 on the LPGA Golf Tour, in which she has already won twenty times, by winning The Annika, a tournament played since Thursday at the Pelican Club in Belleair, Florida (United States).

After several weeks of absence, the number one on the circuit completed a perfect weekend, winning the American tournament for the third time, after those signed in 2021 and 2022 when it was called Pelican Women’s Championship.

Korda, 26, finished with 266 strokes (14 under par) and was three shots ahead of the South Korean Im Jin Hee, the Chinese Weiwei Zhang and the English Charley Hull.

The American has accumulated seven titles this year, but she had not won on the circuit since she won the Chevron Championship on May 19, the second of the two majors that adorn her showcases. In addition, she was Olympic champion three years ago in Tokyo.
