Ten people from Shantitol, Vyas Municipality-6, Tanahun, became sick after eating wild mushrooms.
On Friday evening, Narayan Magar from Myagde Rural Municipality-6, Sarvalang, picked mushrooms from his field and took them to his maternal home in Shantitol, where he cooked and ate them with others.
According to Inspector Bikas Paswan of the Tanahun District Police Office, those who fell ill include Guru Bahadur Pulami, Surendra Bahadur Pulami, Narayan Magar, Pabitra Magar, Til Bahadur Thapa Magar, Chakra Bahadur Pulami, Aarti Pulami, Keshav Pulami, Sita Pulami, and four-year-old Sabin Pulami.
All of them are receiving treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Damauli, and their condition is stable.
